Looks great. Until you look at the ACTUAL DATA instead of the MSNBC PR.

Fox has 9 of the top ten shows in ALL of cable news. That's 9 out of 10.

And it gets worse.

Fox has 9 of the top 9 shows also -- meaning Maddow managed to squeeze into 10th place ONLY AFTER ALL FOX SHOWS HAD TAKEN THE FIRST 9 SPOTS.

In spite of what can only be the most self-laudatory, actually, embarrassing PR a cable news outlet has ever deployed, the truth is just totally not as they tried to suggest.

There is, however, an explanation. Fox viewers, of course, tend to be far more highly informed than MSNBC or CNN viewers. As a result, Fox viewers are flat burned out and turned off after the November election loss. Those who focus on Fox probably are turning off the news channels altogether. I know we have in our household for the last couple months.

Am I REALLY going to watch that piece of crap get inaugurated? Hell, no. Do I care what he says at the SOTU? Shit no.. When that sorry bastard comes on the TV, regardless of which channel it is on, we turn it off.

I'm quite sure our house isn't the only one.
