Sure, and priests rape children -- and so do teachers and relatives. It is sick. But is not a reason to equate the violence of people who abuse their authority with the daily mass slaughter that happens every day in America, where murder, accidental death and suicide happens 86 times per day -- aided and abetted by organizations like the NRA who oppose any and all action that would reduce criminal and negligent access to guns, and who oppose any steps that would begin to curb gun violence. The NRA even opposes research into gun violence -- they don't want people to know the ugly truth about guns and the policies that the NRA promotes.
