Doug time will tell if I'm right or wrong, and believe me I have considered doing as you say you would have done. It is a bit different when you actually own shares in a company in how you think about buying and selling. Especially if you're in a long term position with the stock, and what your basis is. I thank you for your reply and your candor. You said: "If I had owned 3COM, I would have sold with a BIG sigh of relief today." I know what you mean, I do own 3Com....AND had a big sigh of relief at the close. WOW what a day.
