In gauging a stock technically you are simply using indicators to look back historically (indicator's moves vs. stock price action that follows) to figure out the direction and of momentum and approximately where the top and bottom is or is likely to occur. See the chart below of the $SPX which will led the way. So the FED funds better come in tomorrow or this is the beginning of a larger and longer term adjustment down. V
