This is also why I never liked Colin Powell as he didn't seem to care that his political party systematically worked to keep his own race down. Then he went on to sell Bush's Iraq war. He is a pretty bad guy in my mind. koan, you need to slow down. You give liberals a bad name because liberals are very thoughtful not only in forming their opinions but keeping an open mind to revise them if necessary. Actually there are no liberals. There are only conservatives and the rest. Conservatives who have no opinions but biases (something that is not reasoned in) Why do you think Colin Powell was sidelined by the Bush gang. Do you remember how the gang kicked him from a live interview. If you do not consider Gen. Powell's support of Obama as an act to uplift his community, then I do not know what to tell you. And to pour salt over the wound, you call him a *bad* guy!!! A liberal is one who is sensitized to the feelings of the community he or she lives in A non-liberal (conservative in my view) is only sensitized to their own feelings instead of that of the community.
