>> The fact that Arkansas is poor doesn't mean it isn't spending money on education.

Clearly, that sailed over your head. Let's try a different approach.

Why are the worst schools in the country -- those which deliver the worst educations in nation -- also among the highest in per pupil spending?

census.gov

Cost of living. And old schools are more expensive to maintain. And poorer kids require more attention because they don't get the parental support than more affluent kids. There are more reasons but those are just off the top of my head.

If there were any truth to your claims, Arkansas would be in the top ten spenders in the nation -- rather than 37th. And Washington DC should be one of the lowest per-pupil costs in the nation. But it isn't.

In fact, there is little correlation between the quality of education -- whether on the state or the local level -- and the amount of money spent to deliver it. You can see that yourself from the linked table.

Of course there is a correlation. Its something you don't want to see because it doesn't fit your ideology..........just like you don't think there are any racist Rs. You live in a faux world created by your ideology intended to protect your wallet at any cost.
