What the republicans should do is hire a team of trained PSYOPS (Psychological Operations) operators. Men and women, discharged from the US military, who attended the Special Operations PSYOPS School and have field experience.

Get them together in a room. Give them each a copy of Alinsky's book and show them this post. They can take it from there.


This is exactly what needs to be done. I think most republicans still think we are in a game of politics where the arena is still our government as defined by the U.S. Constitution.

It is clear to me that we are in a war that is every bit as real as the bolshevik revolution. We have no clear playbook on how to go forward because we are (collectively) in denial about what is truly happening.

Obama has referred to us as the enemy on more than one occasion. I see it as a slip of the tongue rather than a mistake in terminology. He knows what is going on, he is their general.

We are in an existential struggle. Time that we took the first step and admitted that we have a problem.
