Can the acquisition of Bellcore (the licensor of commerical enabling technology to produce lithium ion/polymer batteries) by SAIC, The Science Applications International Corp, threaten VLNCs ability to license the tech? I would have hoped that VLNCs licensing agreement with Bellcore would be long term and honored if BellCore were to be bought out. This news occurred on 11/7/97, so any potential negative, if there was any, should have been priced into the stock by now. But, you never know. Anyone have an idea on this?

Also, SAIC is based in SanDiego, the HQ of Ultralife, I believe. I certainly hope that they not renig on their licensing agreement.

Let's hope that Don W has good things to say on the 14th. Any further news on Cohens appearance on CNNfn?

Paul

(Glad to see the price stablize in the mid $6s after being down to $6 even. I don't want to see the $5s!)
