Not that I'm happy with the stock's performance, but... Shouldn't these acquisitions be valued as much for the additional reserves as for earnings? I don't pretend to understand this fully, but it seems that an energy company should be looking to balance production with reserves so that it will have strong long term prospects... NOEL PS good point on the slump across the whole sector.
