I am not obsessed in any way. I enjoy pointing out how foolish and dangerous it is for superstitious people to impose any political say on society. I think the survival of humanity depends on a penultimate respect for rationality (REALITY)--which means I feel privileged, honored, and to some degree obligated, to point out the threat inherent in "chosen People" monotheistic superstition--wherever I encounter it.

The point is, I disagree with him. Ergo, the opinions I express will naturally counter his superstitious points!
But to flesh out your question even further...because I suspect you were really only asking why I express my views on this thread? And I suppose I could ask you the same--but it would be silly, preposterous, and intrusive...wouldn't it? -g-
You are new to the thread and do not know the background facts. Let me provide some of those for you.
Greg re ee was (previous to this) on the Evolution thread--superstitious discussion his only topic. The superiority of his Christian superstition over Science and reason was and remains his Raison d'etre. After being soundly trounced in argument, he left the thread in a huff some months back...and retreated here to this lonely thread when he posted ONLY to himself here for 24 days--from July 7 to July 30. At that time, another poster (named Ponokee) made a post over here.
On July 30, gregoree went behind my back (as he has done innumerable times in the past) and gratuitously insulted me. ( Message 28301385 ). I returned to the thread to call him on it, and I stayed because he continues to leave messages in both my PM and my public mail!
Keep in mind, as well, that I have the most posts on this thread--so I do feel somewhat entitled and obligated to defend secularism and atheism against gregoree's superstitious and unfounded attacks.
So that is why I came over here after gregoree was here alone. He used his mouth to invite me back with insult. And because the only topic here is basically religion, that is what I will post about. I cannot stand gregoree, but as long as he continues shooting off his mouth behind my back--or to my face, then I will respond. That is what men do.

Let us not be silly. I could say your time would be better spent elsewhere, too!--RIGHT!? But I have nothing against you...and how you spend your time is certainly none of my business.
But just for your information: I am involved with many organizations which promote my values and SI is not high on high on my list! It is not the United Nations! It is a bulletin board blogging site where I enjoy promoting what I believe. I do so gently and even humourously with people who are fair, decent, and above board. But with people who lie, libel, and misrepresent with malicious intent...I am certainly capable of revealing their pretenses and of rubbing their noses.
