Instead of focusing on "competing with China" in REE production, I'd think it far more useful to stay focused on plays that have more of what China needs... instead of focusing on producing more of what China already has while looking to compete with them.

In the face of real demand growth that exceeds available supply ? Market scarcity has two variants... the artificially created sort... and the real sort. The real sort is a lot harder (still not impossible) to manipulate... in the long term.

But, for most investors, it's better to be positioned in manipulated markets where the market failure modes tend to lead to prices that are "higher"... rather than to a need for "market protections" to enable profits in the face of sudden surpluses.

MCP will probably survive... as a function of the mass in money already applied needing to protect itself...

That's still not a recipe that should have much appeal for most investors who are seeking higher returns from a better combination of leverage and a more predictable market stability in the longer term ...

Better niobium properties...

And solid high value HREE potentials...

And lower cost processing technologies...

Are what I'd rather focus on in this market...

Still thinking there's probably time to do your homework... to find those overlooked values...
