The story is a knee-jerk followup to the Facebook story. Nothing new here. It does highlight the fact that there are disparities between the tax and book accounting for certain transactions, although the analysts have already factored them into their estimates. It also provides an opportunity for those who don't have the benefit of option compensation to rachet up their blood pressure and pull out their pitchforks.
