Jim Cramer @ thestreet.com said this about the disk drive industry in his report today. Ugh. Hard to believe JTS is one of the ones thriving in all of this mess. >>There is a horrible dynamic in the disk drive industry, with Asian manufacturers producing far more drives than the world needs. The drive companies are in a good old-fashioned price war with no winners in sight. I know this advice has driven Motley Fool people batty, but I would rather be right than make friends. People who just started trading now have forgotten what an honest-to-God drive price war can mean. Solvent companies go belly-up. Minor players vanish.
