This is the week. Either it will end the nightmare for the investors or give another boon to the shorts. How Cook handles the shareholder meeting will say volumes about his ability to be the long term ceo of apple, imho. His position is not as secure as Ballmer's at msft. He actually has very little track record.
The idea of firing Forestall was strange imho. Even Microsoft and Sinofsky parted ways but only after win8 was delivered and had changed windows forever. Forestall had no such shot at changing iOS - his baby. Makes no sense. However disruptive he might have been, surely he deserved a shot to get iOS right before he was let go.
