Of course not. It never could have come to that. The Dems put country ahead of party. Cliffs and crunches are a recent invention.

However, I can imagine Raygun cutting and running from Lebanon.

Maybe the sequester should have been 5% cut from each department, instead of 5% from each program. That ties everybodys' hands.

I hear Congress is playing around with the idea of letting Obama use his own discretion in making those cuts. I like that. All cuts can be made in red districts; 10% in them, none for the blue.
