Only deniers believe that. The don't understand Gaian physiology. Sagging jet streams is a concept too far.
Gaian? Come one now.. Gaia, were anyone able to accept that belief, has to acknowledge that "she" is suicidal and given to self-mutilation. She has done far more destruction and recreation to her own "skin" than anything that man can achieve. And all of her "relatives", including her big @ssed solar sister, the sun, all have it out for her.. One day her Sun Sister will burn Gaia to a crisp in a Supernova..
But what really is funny is that Gaia apparently scoffs at the ineptitude and hubris of you Snowbal Warmers by bringing record cold temps to wherever you choose to enjoy your expensive junkets..
Ever think of trying a video-conference, or at least somewhere less expensive to taxpayer dollars (since you're all getting subsidized by NSF and various other global gov't agencies)?
Last June, during the International Polar Year conference, James Overland suggested that there are more cold and snowy winters to come.
So can't the same logic and argument be applied to the belief that higher temperatures and lack of snow is a sign of Global Cooling?
You guys want it both ways, and that's just NOT LOGICAL.. It's NOT just the increased snow, it's the RECORD LOW TEMPERATURES that are coming with it (Russia, China, and Alaska) all experienced multi-decade lows this past winter and not just for a few days either..
To morons who think this way, whether it be record warm temps, or record low temps, it's all "Snowbal Warming"..
