Freeus: Yes, many many years ago, when I needed to learn taxes.
There is an old addage (spelling) It take one to beat one. I had been audited by the IRS ever since age 19. Finally after going to the same appeals officer for 5 years, he suggested that I get a job with the IRS, they needed experienced people with personalities. I became a lead instructor in the training center, Hempstead University, Long Island, NY. Then applied for and got transferred to Ca. and went into the large case group. I was a team coordinator and my team examined all of the large corporations headquartered in Ca. All the Japenese auto inporters, Fluor Corp, all the major oil companies. Want to know how we are loosing our freedoms, look to these companies. Anyhow, freeus, I took all my good education and put it into use, performing accounting tasks and defending the small businesman againt the big brother looking over us. Remember, it takes one to beat one!
Perhaps this above obituary substantiates my doubts about company financial arrangements, as stated in prior posts. I saw this manipulation from the inside. Did you know that companies don't have to contribute money to employees retirement plans, they can contribute company stock instead. Yep, they literally print their own money.
I'm sorry, you got me started. However, isn't it good to know that I have been on your side for the past 19 years.
