Ralph Reed claimed credit for the Child Tax Credit this morning on Morning Joe--says that it originated in pro-family Republican Party. Never mind that Republicans today are outraged (It's outrageous, I tell you!) that so many families don't pay taxes and don't have skin in the game! Which of course is at least in good part the result of the Child Tax Credit.

And never mind that it first passed during the Clinton administration, although it is true that it was expanded during the Bush administration.
