Honestly, I'm just trying to understand your rationale because to an objective observer it looks like you're drawing rather arbitrary lines as to who is responsible for what.

Well, not really...I am addressing what is obvious...it is obvious that a severe recession, an unprecedented housing decline and a financial sector near collapse awaited Obama when he took office. It happened under bush...does it mean he is responsible for it...I am not even saying that...I mean, these problems have been festering for a long time...but when you say that it's obama's fault, well, then you get my dander up because it's obviously not true.

Now to your question...you could say that he's in office and, like or not, he owns corrective action and its efficacy...if you ask me to pinpoint when he started owning it the deficit/debt...i don't know...i don't even care. What I do care about is this...i wish our politicians from both sides worked together to fix things instead obstructing one another to score political points and hold on to office. That's my honest answer to your honest question.
