While I don't blame Obama for 100% of the 09 deficit, I do blame him for wasting a trillion dollars on so-called "stimulus", cash for clunkers, for driving up health care costs with Obamacare (which will cripple the country in multiple ways during future years), etc. His hard-headedness and unwilling to work with Republicans is just unforgivable in light of the difficult circumstances we find ourselves in.

But the obstruction lies predominantly with Obama's leadership failure and Reid's intransigence. The Republicans aren't obstructing anything -- hell, they even gave Obama the punitive tax increases he demanded -- tax increases that serve no revenue purpose, but serve only to punish those who are successful. The Rs caved like idiots and now he's demanding more.

I am a big fan of obstruction, but the truth is the obstruction for the last four years has been essentialy the exclusive territory of the Democrats.
