I suspect that won't go over too well. When it's their money that's taken a good hit, you'll find you'll be facing stares-- they won't be laughing with you. Jmo.

The risk when managing somebody's money, esp. a family member. They take credit for their acumen in being wise enough to be getting the gains; you take blame if the stock/stocks fall.

Why I don't want to oversee anybody else's money.
