It's an interesting turn of events when "The land of the free and the home of the brave" turns out to have an iron wall around it. "I'm sorry but your owners are too difficult to deal with" is pretty tough on the state serfs who do not have a Tradable Citizenship to deposit as collateral.
<This matter-of-fact letter from ViaMat management explains their decision:
“We are currently experiencing rapid and substantial changes in the general regulations within this business. The changes mainly relate to the tax structures and taxation systems of various countries. As a consequence of these changes VIA MAT INTERNATIONAL has taken the decision to stop offering this service at its vault [sic] outside of the US to private customers with potential US-tax liability.” >
They can't even flee as they have to have somewhere to flee to. If they do make it out, they are finding it an intractable problem to deposit money with a friendly foreign financial fund.
It will be richly ironical if Americans end up fleeing overseas as illegal immigrants or undocumented workers or impecunious imports. Rich French are fleeing France.
Rome's tentacles reach out to hold onto their State Serfs anywhere in the world to empty their pockets and enforce compliance with Washington's Papal encyclicals via fatwahs. "Hey, that guy looks like a terrorist to me. Nail him to the cross". The definition of "terrorist" is sure to expand because it's a profitable process. Bobby Fisher, amazing chess champion, ran into enough problems way back then. The loopholes are closing rapidly.
Americans continually vote for less freedom, more serfdom. Now they are in the ungentle embrace of Obamacare and are finding that the free lunch is compulsory, cold, untasty, but surprisingly expensive, followed by a thin gruel of dinner while preceded by a lumpy porridge of breakfast, all free, but impoverishing. Same menu again tomorrow. And onwards, until your end of life, which will have a panel who will determine that the Liverpool Care programme should be adopted: liv.ac.uk Dinner will not be served. No free lunch, no free dinner and no free breakfast the next day.
