It took me a lot longer than nine months to learn one of THE most important rules of trading....SELL quickly when the trend is going the wrong way. When a stock,like ASND, breaks it's trend line and you see it falling below its 30 and especially its 50 day moving average = SELL! It looked bad in June then bounced back, but should have been sold in August. This one fell apart well before Oct.IMHO
I suggest you learn at least a little technical "chart stuff" and look at as many charts as you can to get a better "feel". For many free charts, try dailystocks.com. Good Luck! There are a lot of great posts here from others alot more knowledgeable than I.But remember sell those losers FAST! You can always buy them back.
