Evernote Corp., a digital note-taking service, said it was the target of computerized intrusions into its user-information data, adding to the roster of tech companies disclosing similar attacks.

In a blog post, Evernote said Saturday that its employees identified and blocked what the company said was a "coordinated attempt" to break into secure parts of the service. Evernote said the person or people responsible for the intrusion gained access to Evernote usernames, email addresses associated with Evernote accounts, and encrypted passwords.
