Why should TXN or INTC buy out Cube now with pricing pressures beginning again and the Sotheast Asia region in turmoil? It would represent good business sense to have Cube cry uncle first?

Integration of mpeg/DVD cores into their chips.
Intel would like to add the Ziva core right to a P3, while TXN might want to pump out a trick Video DSP.

BTW...INTC and TXN aren't too friendly, so a bidding war would suit me fine, though this takeover stuff might be wishful thinking.
