That's great! Excel looks ready to take advantage of the Telco acquisition. The commercial business should be very exciting to many IRs and should help many others who have passed on Excel to become strong IRs.

The posibilities for promotion are tremendous: Once an Excel IR works signs up a commercial account, they probably can get management to allow them to hold a coffee or lunch meeting in which the IR can propose; "We have become XYZ Company's long distance carrier (at that point getting and XYZ manager to mention the great deal), now we can offer you the great rates from Excel, the same company that your firm has found so competitive". Of course you might be able to sign up one of XYZ's managers as an IR. That's quite a foot in the door to huge opportunity. The average commercial account is probably worth at least 15 residential accounts.
