People are endlessly fascinating. I have seen that quote, but I don't agree with it. I guess if you only dicussed foolish people, and discussed them in a stupid way, that might be small- but people, and especially cultural icons and political figures, are really interesting. I mean is it small minded to discuss Mao, McCarthy, Lincoln, Jefferson, Pollack, Warhol, Romney, Obama? IMO- No. Absolutely not.
