Well, I am not going to touch your reference to dangling baits, even with a ten-foot pole (or gig, as the case may be). I do hope you are not actually in danger of having your house blown away in a hurricane.

I guess it surprises me that someone so sensible as yourself, and a contractor to boot, would buy such a house. Or perhaps everyone there just loves the beauty of the area so much that safety is secondary? Obviously, San Francisco is like that also, so who am I to talk!!!
