I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Yes, I think Bush was a remarkably good president during the times that were among the most difficult for the country in all my years. And, yes, think Obama is the most incompetent president of my lifetime; after all, he lacked any meaningful accomplishment when he was elected and he still does. He has divided the country like no other, and undone decades of progress in the area of civil rights.

None of it is based on ideology, other than my belief that sometimes wars are necessary and not everyone will necessarily see the need for it where I do. I will say that political views are quite different from what they were 15 years ago when I showed up at SI -- largely, a recognition that some of my positions were inconsistent with my belief that government ought to be a fraction of its current size and scope as well as some realization of how government involvement in our lives really does take away freedom.

To the extent I was aware of those issues I've attempted to resolve them.
