Yet we have had wars and inflation since then and no wage compression. When we started to remove or gut the New Deal provisions in the 1970s, the Great Divergence started to occur.

And it accelerated during the Great Bellyflop of 2007 to the point that virtually every dollar of increased economic activity since then has gone to the wealthy.

But, in your viewpoint there is nothing that can be done. The problem is, if nothing can be done our economy will fail. It has to work for everyone for it to work at all. And that isn't happening right now.
