While we're on the subject of delays in getting information, let me just add that the real world is always full of delays. Delays do not imply deception nor do they occur to avoid confrontation. Delays are a part of life and we should accept them.

Having said that, I would like to remind all of you of the following. December 15 is a tentative date for receiving the findings of the Utah Division of Environmental Quality (DEQ) with respect to their review of the Class V certification for EnviroTec. I trust that we all won't sink into a malaise if that date comes and goes and no decision has been reached.

This is a government entity that we are dealing with and this is the Holiday season and the well is the first of its kind in the state of Utah. As such, we can certainly expect some delays in this decision date.

I, for one, believe that the well certification is not a matter of IF but rather WHEN. The state needs the site, none exist to resolve the disposal problem. While there are some concerns over ensuring the efficacy of the well, these should not be overwhelming in nature.

I am quite upbeat in the near term success of this certification process but I won't commit to an 11 day decision date. I am also upbeat in the midterm and outyear success of the LPS and oil/gas subsidiaries.

We must be patient and resolute. The panic selling of recent days has only helped Shorters.
