Hi Nik .... my apologies for not getting back sooner regarding your query about what I’m “investing in lately”. The truth is I’ve been heavily involved in several time consuming projects of late so unfortunately the market and the forum have had to take a bit of a back seat.

With all that happened, in the not too distant past, regarding financial crises, uncertainties in Europe, international debt burdens primarily in the West, etc.. etc.., I reduced my stock holdings quite dramatically some time ago. I only kept one or two stocks, such as NFLX, where I sold off about 70% of my original stake. That took a bit of a knock and then has risen up again.

Another thing that took up some of my “free” time was putting together the SI Top 10 Portfolio with Sergio and the rest of the team. I thought some really good stock proposals came out of that process. After sifting through those stocks I took a bit of a short cut and bought into several of them.
These were CL, DIS, GLW, JOY and UNP. I have owned CL way back in the past but sold them to use the capital for a property investment.
I guess that probably looks like a fairly boring selection where it’s unlikely to lead to much in the way of ‘fireworks’.

You mentioned ” starting a small partnership”. Are you able to elaborate further in that regard ?
