To All: Has anybody checked out Select Capital? They're the people who alledgedly lent out $5mil to UMSI a few weeks back. They have a web site at selectcapital.com. Here's some public info about that they posted on the Net to explain their criteria for loans. Apparently, THEY were able to receive the financials that no one else can get. Wally For what it's worth (closing in on 2 cents) here's a quote from one of their pages: " A client corporation which meets the following criteria is most likely to benefit from Select Capital's investment banking services: The company has been operational for at least 2 years; The company is presently profitable or can be profitable within the next twelve months after the infusion of equity and/or debt. Select tries to avoid the representation of companies whose profitable operations are years as opposed to months away; The management team must be in place and own a piece of the equity or have economic incentives for achieving success; The company should develop, manufacture and market a product that the public can readily understand; The company must have audited financial statements or be capable of being audited within a short period of time.
