wally, my numbers for cpq sub k boxes are 29% in july 67% in aug 70% in sept for a weighted avg. of maybe 57-58 % for 3 q. true, cpq expected the 1 k boxes to have competiton. so their market share is down. BUT, IT'S BECASUE THEY HAVE 200MMX'S AND P233'S AT A SUPER PRICE AT alittle over 1k. This is eveidenced by a report that says oct shipments were up 70% and novemeber was strong too. Jim will not ever give you correct info on cpq bec. is doesn't look at it objectively. At best for 3q cpq had maybe 58-59% that is tops for sub 1k..jim is spreading rumor it was 70% and to date has posted no report to show this. now their is a chance at reading stuff to misinterpret and get 70%. but, all the evidence shows it wasn't even 60%. recent reports confirm this. I will give you all the analsyst reports to back this up.
