Just so happened to watch Hawthorne's Scarlet Letter tonite, how appropriate. Though a fiction certainly has perfectly accurate historical allusions & of course condemned by religious authorities for its sinful subject matter, but this is how classics get born. There's no seperation from God's law & man's law , there never was a true division between the religious from the secular its all the same, the rest is pretense & superstition.
