GDP is not ok and productivity is declining.

I agree there is some hope if low oil and natural gas prices spur manufacturing, exports, AND JOBS. Do you have any idea what a 7.7% unemployment number is if you use the formula they used in 1992? Domestic oil and gas is what has reduced the trade deficit. I also beg to differ that 1861 was the last hurrah for the US. There is still a sleeping giant in the US and it may be bloated central government insanity that awakens it this time. The rich people don't bother me.
