It's just a matter of time.
ACTV will be one of the featured digital applications at the Western Digital show in NextLevel's reportedly very large booth area. So maybe further interest and/or news will generate from there.
The Philly eSchool is scheduled to be fully functioning by the beginning of January 1998, if not before then. Sales of eSchool are expected to be good.
Incidentally, ACTV's present connection with Sarnoff is that Sarnoff is the executor of the digital code which makes it all work for ACTV. In this regard, Sarnoff is a supplier of services (they also continue to hold options in ACTV).
ACTV's relationship with Sarnoff makes any comments of "scam" from menmailman just ludicrous, if we didn't know that already. Sarnoff's work-history in color TV, stereo, broadcast satellites and now in iris scanning technology (Sensar, the iris scanner, was interviewed on CNBC yesterday, is a subsidiary of Sarnoff, which a subsidiary of SRI which is near you, Buzz) is well established.
Also, concerning the revenue flow from cable operations:
Subscription $ go to the cable operator who by contract divides those $ with ACTV. ACTV has no involvement in money collection or set top box arrangements. This is the business of the cable op.
