Denis,
Have been enjoying the dialog between you, FO, and LG; although I must say that it is sometimes difficult to follow scenario painted upon scenario upon scenario. Let's keep in perspective that much of what is being speculated upon is either pure creation of someone's imagination or is being reported (inappropriately, IMO) by company insiders. Neither source is guarranteed to lead to the truth -- especially, perhaps, the latter. It can be intoxicating to be "taken into the confidence" of company CEOs, COBs, COOs, etc. -- especially when the experience is new and the confidee is new to "business". Nevertheless, my experience has been that the information coming from the company's officers or from supposed "close insiders" has been almost uniformly wrong over the course of the past year or so. Certainly, investment decisions based on these sources have led to less than stellar results, as many here can testify. It is therefore, curious to me that many seem to continue to search for the key to investment success in management's pocket. FWIW, O. H. |
