They lost, but they win more often than they lose. >Being rich doesn't necessarily give you political power, but having political power almost always makes you rich. Maybe at the top. But there are tens of thousands of politicians that aren't the President, one of 100 Senators, or 435 members of the house. They can (and do) get bought. Just look at West Virginia. >Your beef should be against those who have the political power, i.e. the lobbyists and those who can solicit political contributions. Instead, your anger is directed toward those who have a lot of money. And that's just plain class envy. I'm much angrier about how they use it than the fact that they have it. But the fact that they have it hurts the economy. -Z
