Ted, the large soda ban is a trial balloon. Obviously 32oz Coca-Colas aren't the only reason why Americans are so obese these days, but Bloomberg wants to see whether such a law can be implemented and what effect it would have. After that, other foods will be "regulated" as well. Ice cream, potato chips, fried chicken, and other mortal sins of the diet police will be controlled by government. All because Americans can't be trusted to lose weight on their own. By the way, I've lost 10 pounds since the start of this year, and I didn't have to wait for the state of CA to tell me that I too can't order 32oz sodas. And I achieved this even as I suffered a knee injury from last year. There's no substitute for personal responsibility, no matter how much liberals try. Tenchusatsu
