You bring up an interesting point adding semi stocks to those on sale. While it is true the price of semi stocks are also priced at "fire sale" pricing, might this be more reasonable as these co's - with some obvious exceptions - may have problems maintaining their profits. As price drops and Asian problems add to the problem many of the semis are not going to maintain profits. That is IMO, what makes the biotechs like BIOI such great buying opportunities as the biotechs are being squeezed by the rest of the market.

To suggest that biotechs will come under the same pressure for profits as the semis though is nonsense. Many don't even have products yet, let alone a profit. I think we may look back on this time as a time of opportunity for many biotechs at these prices. I believe BIOI is "ON SALE". So are CRLS, ARRS, RZYM, GENE and many others.
