as a kid I had Elizabeth Seton nuns ( i think sisters of charity) they were all from southern pennsylvania.

If you were bad they would jab you in the chest with a finger, hard. I mean a third grader getting this 35 year old finger jabbed in your chest with full force. hurt like hell, we used to call it 'getting the pennsylvania finger'
