Thanks for the link. Unless one has gone through the process of negotiating and establishing a contract such as BSDM needs from a distributor, the wrangling over details can't really be -- err -- appreciated.

I was involved in generating a contract for the financing (one entity) of a new medical product development (a second entity -- in which I was a founder) and subsequent marketing of it (by a third entity). The company established for the development grew to roughly the same size as BSDM (but did not eventually succeed, due to an intractable tech problem). Getting conceptual agreement on the general contract terms was not easy, but still a long way from a satisfactory legal contract. Much of the wrestling over the minute wording seemed at times like nitpicking, but it was necessary to satisfy the desires and concerns of all the parties.

Keep the Champagne on ice -- the signing is near! And, while apparently the largest, this is only one of about a half dozen distributors already signed on for MTX-180 marketing, worldwide. Clearly, this product is recognized as important!
