My favorite toy is the real time market pulse service from Quote.com. No technical indicators, just price and volume in 1, 5, 10, 15, 30, and 60 minute ticks. You can see every trade go by and the best bid and best ask prices plus the best prices in the on-deck circle so to speak. You can see when somebody has entered a non-marketable order in some really big blocks sometimes.

In addition I use Windows On Wall Street Professional with end of the day data downloads through Dial Data. Dial data is not that great as I find myself having to go back and fix incorrect highs or lows for the day that are just WAY out of the ball park. It happens just a little bit too often.

For technical indicators I use WoW and to time intraday decisions, I use just price and volume which is good enough provided you are trading with and not against the trend.

My favorotie technical indicators are 12 day bollinger bands, 5 day stochastics encased in 12 day bollinger bands with bands drawn halfway between the middle and outer bands, and bollinger bands on bollinger band width. Yes, I do like bollinger bands.
