What they did wrong is loan those banks money. Because that what a bank account is, a loan to the bank by a "saver"... The is a haircut on lenders we normally refer to as depositors.. Think it would been better to force that 10% deposit/loan into a special trust that must be paid back, but could not be withdrawn for a period of time.. Like a CD.. Hawk
