Hope you're correct regarding progress of production.

I also find the timing to suck; however, I really don't think it's an indication of bad news. Instead, it appears that "production" has been suitably set up and that Cal has done his job. Now, the PR campaign is on, and that's what Lev is best for. (I still despise Lev for all of the money he made on VLNC when it was in the mid teens to 20s in 1992/1993, leaving us little guys in the single digits, but, he did get the price to $26!!)

Regarding where has Dawson been? I'm sure that as co-founder, he's stayed on in a consulting position until the lawsuit was behind them. Why did he leave? Because of the lawsuit. It's managements good faith effort to show shareholders that they're reprimanding those accused of artificially inflating the stock, which Lev was accused of in the lawsuit. It does stink from a PR standpoint, but as long as they can actually make a product, then I don't care who does it.

One last comment that I think is significant. There has been only 1 large block trade in VLNC during this 500,000+ share volume day. Interesting. All the small fry selling and buying, no big guys.
