Accountability is there, its just been restated at each crisis that now it no longer has any meaning. Kind of like what mummy does with her little angel , who is at heart a minion of the devil, when he/she transgresses the family rules. The law is ignored because, as our own Country Enforcer the AG says.....it's just too difficult and complicated to do. (by the way do you think they'd say that if you didn't pay your taxes, or when they come for your savings?)
