I am personally surprised at your angst. Were you born just last decade ? People within and without governments have been stealing money from savers for decades. I remember when US went off of the gold standard and eliminated silver certificates, and inflation in the 1990s and in the 1980s and the 1970s and the 1960s and the late 1950s. Protect your money but how ? That has always been the question. Every time you solve it, a new threat will emerge. Never trust your government. Put that in a tattoo on your forearm. It may help you focus. Good Luck
