Correct. I'm not sure if SIPC and FDIC cover a total of or a combination of all so my "correct" response may not be correct. SICP is 1 mil, FDIC is 500k and SIPC can be dicey. If we saw systemic insolvency the reality is that FDIC could payout around 1% on the dollar. Of course were that to happen we'd all be bartering for food and likely about to have a civil war
