The Republican Party had a bunch of problems. Some of them you mention are accurate, some are not.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the republican party. I just hate them less than I hate the democrat party.

However, conservatives with a libertarian bent in general are going to lean toward personal responsibility.

And until your special interest groups believe in personal responsibility, the parties who represent the conservatives will have a problem.

Democrats are for the nanny state.
Women - take care of your own damn birth control and abortions and you won't have to worry about what conservatives think
Latinos - if you are an American Citizen, I love you. If you got here illegally you should be deported and you should have absolutely no voice in american politics. Any other line of thought is simply pandering for votes at the cost of our cultural, economic and political well being.
Blacks - Get out from under the liberal slavery of government entitlements. Liberals have robbed you of your dignity and your ability to prosper. Take responsibility and instill values into your children.
Asians - well, culturally they will tend to go liberal
Jews - God only knows how they can still support the Anti-Israel Party known as the Democrats.
Gays - quite looking outside for yourself for approval. Where I personally believe in equal application of marriage laws, it isn't our job to make you feel better about yourself.
